Weight of His Glory

God rained beauty

Again

20200816_082403

His sun smolders, emboldens

20200816_162205

Then

The wonder about the weight of His glory

Will it be heavy

on my chest?

20200816_163752

Will it keep me awake,

prevent me from rest?

What if it comes upon

when I am broken and forlorn?

20200816_082624

I cannot imagine what could come next …

Again

He whispers

No worries

My glory is a gift

Unlike any other

It is about Me

Not you

There is nothing you have to do

The weight of heaven is different for all

You, my child, have prayed for My fire to fall

Be ready in season and out

To speak hope, be life and when I give you the time … shout!

Therefore do not lose heart.

Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.

For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

So we fix our eyes on not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal (2 Corinthians 4:16-18).

Thank you for joining me.

I was pondering the weight of God’s glory today. Filled with awe, I look forward to that day, be it on earth and/or in heaven.

  1. Such beautiful thoughts along with beautiful photos. The morning glory is my favorite at this time of year–it glows with a glory that makes me look for Heaven, that new morning. Blessings to you dear friend!

    1. Good morning sister. Thank you for sharing about His morning glory. How wonderful it draws your eyes to seek heaven. I must admit. I am beyond excited for Fall, the crispness of the air and the harvest maize sun. May God bless you in the abundant ways you least expect today, Bettie. Love, Julie
