An Intercessor’s Struggle

But may all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You.

May those who long for Your saving help always say, “The Lord is great” (Psalm 40:16).

In the stillness

Your fullness

Cuddles

Muddles

Through all the muck

Parts of my heart are stuck

Again, I need You, Oh God

May Your presence seize me

Baptizing with fire

Faith rising this very hour

Many lifted

Others have drifted

Their situations, their names

I give them to You, their hearts cannot stay the same

Peace

Release

the intercessor’s responsibility

is to lay low, out of visibility

meet with heaven, confer

storm, stir

the letting go means I don’t carry their burden forever

You, Lord, are my help and theirs … whether

they see

or receive

I trust in You to

to do

the impossible

when it is Your will

But as for me (and the many hearts), I am poor and needy; may the Lord think of me

You are my help and my deliverer;

You are my God, do not delay (Psalm 40:17).

~~~
Welcome and thank you for your visit.
Do you intercede for others?
Is it sometimes unclear when to let go?
Our Lord is so, so good. He reads our hearts even after we say we have let go. Sometimes prayer goes on and on before any results are revealed. We must wait on Him, He who is sovereign.
Have a blessed rest of your evening.
If you have anything you want to share with me, feel free to do so here in the comments or by email at juliedibblespeaks@gmail.com.
