Holy

bluecross

Such a drastic contrast
Between Holy and sin
The battle rages within
Flesh meshes with lies
Purity and truth stand by
Waiting, calling
Never late or stalling
Holy is His whisper

poppyflower
A glimmer
Of His glory
A lightening flash
For those who see are changed in its path
Holy is Scripture

haggai
Operating on wounds needing suture
A sword dividing bone and marrow
Repelling every enemy arrow
Holy is His presence

sunset1
A glorious event
There is no one
Except you and your Lord
You are welcome, you are held
You are strengthen, you are compelled
To praise God
To honor His name
Holy, without sin or blame

Thank Him
For who He is and His work He promises to complete within

Your righteousness, God reaches to the heavens, You who have done great things.

Who is like you, God?

Though You have made me see troubles, many and bitter, You will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth, You will again bring me up. You will increase my honor once more.

I will praise You with the harp for Your faithfulness, my God; I will sing praise to You with the lyre, Holy One of Israel.

My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to You, I whom You have delivered.

My tongue will tell of Your righteousness acts all day long, for those who wanted to harm me have been put to shame and confusion (Psalm 71:19-24).

Good morning and welcome to this poetry site.

Holy seems untouchable, unreachable when we know God.

He is the only Holy, such awe and wonder we have for His Trinity: God the Father, His Son Jesus and Holy Spirit, perfect in relationship and Holy without ever ceasing to be Holy.

We are called to be like Him.

Thank you, Jesus, for working within our hearts to weed out sin and unholiness.

Help us, Oh Lord, to see Your holiness, to chase after Holy, to humble ourselves that we become more Holy.

In unity, we praise Your Holy Name!
