By refocusing our space program on Mars for America’s future, we can restore the sense of wonder and adventure in space exploration that we knew in the summer of 1969. We won the moon race; now its time for us to live and work on Mars, first on its moons and then on its surface ~ Buzz Aldrin (brainyquotes.com)
For now … permanent
Men have seen, touched, stood
Yet this little piece of heaven
So largely misunderstood
God saw darkness
Knew how it would breed sadness, violence
God made man, then woman
From a powerful love deep within
The dark, He said
Will be forever in debt
To the Word of Life
To My Son, the World’s Light
Do you hear Him calling you out
Of the throes of the shadows?
God invites us close
to make Him our shelter, our shield, our strong tower,
to give us life in Jesus who rose,
to give us daily manna of hope
to remind us there is not one thing in our lives He doesn’t know
God invites us in
so that we may see His power, His faithfulness, His peace in all our suffering~
And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. God made two great lights-the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. (Genesis 1:14-16).
Oh Friends, heavy on my heart is this virus, but not even the actual germs, it is the news and the way we are responding to government and to each other. It is not about us.
Nor was the moon ever about us.
His moon caught my eye this morning. Been thinking on it all day. If you want to hear more of my thoughts and this poem and Scripture, go to https://Facebook.com/jdibble4Him.
If you need prayer this weekend, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Have a blessed night. Take a peek to see His moon and planets. I saw somewhere where Mars and Jupiter and maybe one other are supposed to line up.
Love in Christ,

Such beautiful thoughts, Julie. He gave us the light of the moon, to show us that even the dark would not be without His light. Praise Him! And, oh, yes, these times are so hard to see how people are scrambing without any hope. May my heart be stirred to continue praying for HIS light to be seen. Thank you for sharing here and on your live reading today. Blessings to you and your family this night!

Thank you dear Bettie. The world gets more crazy by the day. It helps me, and comforts me, to go back to the reason why God made us and the world. His purpose remains and will be fulfilled. I pray He lessens all pain in your body this given day and gives you a fresh wind of inspiration to share with His people. Love you, Julie
