Will We Humble Ourselves?

Bending

I observe the trees as they contend

With His holy wind

Meant to awaken us to our sin

God shakes

But He cannot be shaken

God moves

Even in those who seek to prove

No truth is in His Spirit

Will they ever open their hearts to know it?

I keep praying

Lord, bring us, Your people, back to laying

Face down

Not motivated by a crown

Just humble

Lord, so often we stumble

Fall on our faces

Rather than give honor prostrate

I for one

Cannot speak for everyone

It breaks me in two

To think I will leave and a friend will be subdued

For the rapture is coming

This plague tells us end times are closing

Look to your left

Are anyone’s knees bent?

Look to your right.

Are there any with faith standing firm, continuing to fight?

Little me

Whispers in her sleep

use me,

Lord, for Yours is the Kingdom, the power and the glory

Nobody except God the Father knows when Jesus will come back to earth. Those who believe know He will return. Those who are paying attention to current events and reading Scripture know that this may not be the end. but we are seeing at least a glimpse of that troubled time.

But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father (Mark 13:32).

Brothers and sisters, keep watch and pray. Pray for all those you know who don’t believe, pray for those who have rejected the truth, pray for Our mighty God to show Himself to His people again as He been faithful to do. Pray to be with Him when He returns. For that which will happen, we need hearts on fire with faith now, not tomorrow or next week … now.

Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard, hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you (Revelation 3:3).

How will you spend Resurrection Sunday? I am praying through this weekend. If you need specific prayer, please email me at juliedibblespeaks@gmail.com.
