As night lifts the iron curtain
Flora brightens as the rain begins
Blooms of white, pink and yellow
Robins and chickadees share their morning bellows
Life continues
As we face a battle we worry we will lose
God says through the plague
Come back, my children, come and stay
I have made you My home
Won’t you please come, surrender fake thrones …
Lay down lies
Tied to your faith
You came to be through the Word of Truth
Let me fill you and guide you as you return to worship
Stamp out distractions
Open your hearts for holy extraction

He chose to give us birth through the Word of truth, that we might be a kind of first fruits of all He created (James 1:18).

Praise be to God, Our Father, who created us for Himself. He wants His children back for good, for eternity … not just for a moment or one worship song.
Pause a moment and ask yourself how much do you love God? How have you shown Him you love Him and thank Him for all He has done? How does your life please God?
If there are things in your life you have placed before God (marriage, children, job, social media, bank account, friends, ministry, addictions, judgment of others, …), lay it all down today and ask for His help to make Him first, above all else.
He is mighty. He knows all things so we can hide nothing from Him. He speaks only truth. He loves without blame. God wants His children close to hear His voice, to know His direction for their lives, to honor Him.
God says …
Bring My sons from afar and My daughters from the ends of the earth — everyone who is called by My name, whom I created for My glory, whom I formed and made (Isaiah 43:6-7).
