Good morning, my dear friends near and far,
I am thanking God for a new a day.
I am looking to Him, trusting He will take this virus away.
If you missed it, believers are “gathering” to pray 7x day for Lord to take this virus away. Will you join?
You can set your phone alarm for every hour until you have hit the 7.
7 is a number of completeness, God created the world in 7 days. Let us trust Him to clean our world of sin and disease as we pray earnestly 7 x day.
Today’s post comes from Numbers Chapter 16.
Our Lord is a-m-a-z-i-n-g and all-powerful. In my Spirit, I know He wants us to turn to Him, lay down our sin, stop worshipping other things and turn our lives back to Him.
You might say to yourself, “I love God. He knows I do.”
Do your actions equal your heart?
Are your thoughts on God mostly or yourself?
There is zero shame for us who are growing in Him.
But let’s make a commitment to please Him today.
God can continue the virus or stop it.
Here’s the poem born out of my study of Numbers Chapter 16. I encourage you to read the chapter today, asking God what He wants you to learn from it:
Moses
the Chosen
leader
with his brother Aaron
the designated speaker
God-appointed
Ordained and Anointed
yet still the people
full of rebellion
challenged Moses
creeping
attempting to steal
the Holy priesthood
Moses stood firm
beseeching Our Lord in front of them
a cloud of Glory
His earth opened, swallowed the sinners, end of that story
fear raged
repentance remained caged
Moses knew and saw
their sin before the Lord
Moses asked God for mercy
will one sinner hurt the many?
meanwhile the Lord issued a plague …
death running through sinners’ veins
Moses with Godly wisdom
directed Aaron to atone
standing between the dead and the living
Aaron did as God through Moses commanded
our Lord Almighty stopped the plague
