Do You Hear the Invitation?

womensstarbucks

Heaven bids us come

All the self-righteous, broken and undone

Save the make-up

You don’t need breakfast at IHOP

And Starbucks needn’t be a stop

Go directly to the Cross

Our home at any cost

See in heaven

Nobody is lost, forgotten

All will be

In His forever glory

Yet … the Cross is available right now

A constant invitation to lay your life down

Say yes, Jesus, I need You now

And not only His warm embrace

Or the endless compassion on His face …

Yes, Jesus, say, yes please

I believe

You are Lord

The One whom prophets told

The Lamb who died at 33 years old

The Lion who rose

Up out of the grave, defeating death

Inviting again

All to come

To be loved and love Him

For you are daughters and sons

Of the Most High God

A Father of truth whom you can rest your lives upon

If you declare with your mouth “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile – the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on Him, for “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:9-13).

Welcome to you, here at this poetry site.

I pray right now God calls you to come, believe His Son Jesus lives and rose from the dead after dying for our sins on the cross.

I am coming up on my 50th birthday. I met God at age 40, and I am a new person with hope for my future.

If you have questions about Jesus, you can read the book of Mark in the Holy Bible. NIV or NLT version is best when first starting.

Or I invite you to email me any questions or prayer needs at juliedibblespeaks@gmail.com.

Look up and believe, don’t wait!

In Christ,

Julie
