Winter White

snowfalling

Snow floats in silence

His essence

Pure white

Falling, not in spite

bridedress

Rather as the dress

When we as His bride confess

We have lost our way

In the bright light of the day

wintersheep

Our hearts cheated

Charged forth believing there was nothing we needed

Staunch ownership

of all under the sun that is His

peacock

“Oh, Lord, we know

Our hearts go to and fro

Satan dangles

Lies of pride, leaving us tangled

For we

are not worthy

of Your white

We are not worthy

of all You have done in spite …

of our sin

May we begin

this moment, this day

to hail and praise Your holy name

and not for one second claim any fame

You are Life

Your Word cuts like a knife

through the thousands of deceipts,

removes them so it is on the truth of Christ we can plant our feet”

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time (1 Peter 5:6).

    1. Thank you so much for the warm welcome back brother. I will write on the other blog to update all on our family life. It’s been a bunch of blessing and struggle. I am right now praying God will bless you and your lovely wife with sweet time this evening.

  1. Such a beautiful poem, Julie, full of conviction and truth. Yes, Lord, may I bow at Your feet and let You be my everything. I’ve been praying for you and your family; it’s so good to read your words here again!

    1. Dearest Bettie, I cannot tell you enough how I appreciate your prayers. We go Thursday for biopsy results. We continue to pray for complete healing and zero cancer, not now, not ever. Thank you sister for being here. I am sorry it took me so long to respond.

      1. Oh please don’t apologize! Your schedule is so very full, and I also take a long time to catch up with replies sometimes. Thank you for the update, I will write that date in my prayer calendar now, and pray for the Lord to be mighty on all your behalf! Love you dear sister.
