Fall is brewing
Leaves spewing
Brittle remnants of the past
Love thrives in bold color
Beneath the valor
Lies death
Slowly taking
Breath forsaken
Shadows beckon
Wait …
Is that all we get to do is wait?
Waiting
Is hope
Waiting
Precedes every resurrection
~~~
The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who seeks Him;
it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord (Lamentations 3:25-26).
~~~
Sometimes all we can do in a season is wait. We wait for test results, we wait for medicine to prove effective, we wait to get paid, we wait and wait and wait.
When we turn our eyes to Him in the wait, our hope grows. We remember He has plans we have not yet seen. We remember He is working for the good of us, not to harm us but to prosper us.
May you know the light of Jesus in and out of your wait.
All photos in this post are mine from my walk earlier.
In Christ,
Julie

Thank you for your kind words. I will post more about Fall as the season settles in. It is my favorite. Dare I be so selfish. As you eloquently stated, God is awesome any time๐๐

Will do. We are having a few days away on the coast in Spring so I’ll get a variety of photos for sure. I’m also hoping to go to the Tulip Festival in Canberra but that will depend on accommodation. Canberra is so beautiful in September.

Thank you for your poetry visit my sister. I will be sure to show him your message. He needs all the encouragement he can get. Your prayers as I pray for you too are all heard in heaven. Hallelujah for that.
