Hope Glows

Hope glows

on the faces

of those

who love Jesus

who frees us

crackedpot

Hope glows

in the words

of those

who suffer tragedy

who witness life leave

justshowup

Hope glows

in the souls

of those

who live by Light

through fear, through grief, through the hollow depth of night

Hope glows

everywhere we allow Him to grow~

Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them … not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away (1 Peter 5:2-4).

Thank you for all new and continued readers here. My pen has been dry as of late.

I am thankful for the opportunity tonight to hear my new friend Julie Nevel use her gifts to lead us in praise and worship. I won’t share her story. That is hers to share. Just know that as I took in pieces of her life, God gave me this poem … I believe to honor her and to honor all of us who stick with Him when the going gets tough … and to give Him all the glory for He is Our Living Hope.
