When we are free
We soar … God willing
When we confess
We are cleansed, He says
When we pray,
Asking Him to show the way …
His answer can wait weeks plus days
For our entire life
As we align with His Divine
God willing
Heaven sees us, receives us
We, in faith, believe
Upon us
descending
eternal
supernatural
reprieve

I wonder where you are with God. I wonder if you are feeling frustrated He hasn’t answered prayers the way you want. This happens sometimes because we are all selfish, a sin that has followed us since the Fall.
Today, wherever you are with God, I pray you be still and offer your thoughts, requests, worries as a gift to Him. Though it is hard, continue to be still and listen. I cannot predict when God will answer prayers. However, I know from experience, He communicates with some consistency when we give Him the honor of being still (Psalm 46:10).
Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
