We are Woven

A warm breeze
Fragrant air
Gently moving my hair
Tall tulips speak in bold pink

tulippic
An old tree looms over head
Cracks in his bark

Legacy unsaid
A bunny nose twitches to and fro
Spying movement from the side

They don’t see well what’s right in front. They learn because they tried.
God prepares the babies in the womb
Hidden knowledge
In Christ our Lord
Belongs to the bunnies and us
Those woven by Spirit’s cord
The One who binds the broken

braid
Braiding all His people
Into a parade

bannerchrist
A banner sailing
Faith unwavering
Fear melting
Worth, purpose swelling

Since then you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you will also appear with Him in glory (Colossians 3:1-4).

Thank you to all followers of this poetry blog. Welcome to any of you who are just stopping by.

Nature draws me to Christ. I cannot look at anything … an ant, a flower, a puddle without thinking of its source, Our Creator. Have you ever thought about a faith banner? What would yours say?

  1. I love how you weave God into every glimpse of His creation! I have always seen His hand and His beauty in nature, for He made it, of course! So it sings of Him! What a sweet blessing. May you see Him wherever you go today!
