Faith on Fire

As we enter Holy Week

Let us bow our heads, submit our souls weak

As we expect His power

Let us increase our trust every hour

As we see the glory of Jesus

Let us shout praise

Begin a wave of Hallelujahs

Fanning the flame of fiery faith

But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things He did and the children shouting in the temple courts, “Hosanna to the Son of David,” they were indignant.

“Do you hear what these children are saying?” they asked Him.

“Yes,” replied Jesus, “have you never read,

“‘From the lips of children and infants you, LORD, have called forth Your praise'”? (Matthew 21:15-16).

In the Scripture above, I encourage all of us to consider ourselves like the children shouting His praise this week but not only this week.

Growing our faith is our responsibility as children of God. The journey is rich in His grace and truth. Joining with Jesus means our burden is shared with an ALL MIGHTY POWERFUL GOD.
