New Life in Christ

Holy Spirit soul renovation
Leaves you color-less
As He threshes away selfishness
Forgiven, you feel the stain peel away

stained
Layer by layer
You feel someone’s prayer
Holy Spirit ministers
During this irresolution

Oh the new
Shedding like snakeskin the old you
You may wonder
Who am I now?
You are the child of  A Gracious Truthful Father who has gifted you a crown
What you don’t know and can’t see

Are plans laid out reaching to eternity

You must trust Jesus
He chose you and holds you
He protects you
He calls you beloved
His Word is final; you are ever loved

For we know that our old self was crucified with Him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin-because anyone who has died has been set free from sin.

Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with Him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, He cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over Him. The death He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life He lives, He lives to God.

In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God (Romans 6:6-11).

~~~
Whoa, the most life-changing event in our world’s history still has its effects over 2000 years later. Thank You, Jesus, for the sacrifice You made that we are made new. A life dead to sin is one that flourishes, is one that provides hope and light to others, is one that gives Him all the glory.
Right now, I am praying Jesus that You make Yourself known to any and all 9-11 victims and their families. I am praying boldly that You lift their eyes to heaven and show them hope like they have never seen before. Lord, we all need Your hope. We wither without it. May I end with praise, Lord? You are mighty, compassionate, powerful and ever-present! You made the heavens and the earth. You promise to make those new too. Lord, You are our everything. In Jesus Holy Name, Amen.
To everyone here who follows the blog, thank you.
      1. Right now our family is praying for my Grandma. Her name is Juanita. My Grandpa’s health is not good either. He is 92 and his name is Richard. My Mom and Aunts and Uncles are all helping them both round the clock now. I have 2 Aunts and 1 Uncle that are all nurses, so that helps. Lots of medical training & experience between all of them. Thank you for your prayers Julie! God bless you!
