How Faith Grows

stormcloudroll

The clouds are rolling in
Fast
Spinning
Rain spitting
At me
I find cover under a tree

treerain
Its lush leaves a canopy
A place designed for me
Wiggle my feet so they sink
I see the stream

stream
Glistening, flowing
Dipping my fingers
Releasing the unbelief
Though not immersed
I am washed
Roots of new
Tethered not skewed

Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,

whose confidence is in Him

They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream.

It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit (Jeremiah 17:7-8).

Happy Tuesday!

Such hope in Jesus. We are never forgotten or beaten down because of Him. Have you placed your trust in Him? I encourage you to do that today.

  1. Thank you so much Julie. This poem is so special to me, coming at just the right time. Truly He plant us, strengthening His roots in us, and washing away all that doesn’t belong. What a precious Savior He is!! Love and hugs to you Dear Sister!
