His Blessings

High above
Our earthly buzz
Sits a King on His throne
Who died to make us His own
His majesty overcame
His blood covered every stain
He gave grace its name
In love His truth proclaims

So worthy and so powerful
His praise shall ever be a mouthful
For He revealed His holiness
In a baby at his mothers breast
In clouds of spirit
In a bush blazing with fire not burning it

In the covenant
His laws and His forever invitation
To pull up a seat
At His table to eat

To cast our burdens
Surrender our fleshy yearnings
How can we ever thank Jesus enough
For His blessings over- filling our cups?

Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him (Psalm 34:8)

Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

Praise the Lord, you His servants; praise the name of the Lord.

Let the name of the Lord be praised, both now and forevermore.

From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised (Psalm 113:1-3).

Such goodness and faithfulness in Our Lord and Savior. What blessings can you thank Him for today?

I am thanking Him for this coming weekend, spending time with a dear friend, writing, meditating for the speaking on Sunday. *fellowship *a privilege to be His vessel

I am thanking Him for His faithfulness for the spiritual and physical protection of my husband and children.

I am thanking Him for being our living hope in every and any darkness.

    1. Bruce you and I both had to learn to recognize blessings, perhaps different backgrounds but Jesus brought us closer to Him and to know each other! Praise His name. I appreciate the prayers very much. Please tell Kathy I haven’t forgotten her.
