expanse
his sky’s winter dance
a canvas of white
purity in flight
a call to surrender
all
He paints hope
for those on a precipice, those feet sliding down an icy slope
His powerful light
speaks life to every soul in fright, in strife, in pain cut with satan’s knife
just a glimmer
extinguishes death’s call to sinners
Hope lives, He is alive
calling us to rise, to do more than just survive
we whom He doesn’t need
have an open invitation to join in His glory

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal (2 Corinthians 4:16-18).

Praise His name, Melissa for being the One to rescue us from the slippery slopes and the pits. Sending you a warm hug today. Is your yard thawing?

Ahhh, yes, little by little. Because it was a lot of ice, it is taking some time to thaw. How about you? Seeing some signs of spring yet?
