Reflections of what could be
Beyond the blue
And clouds so true
I could be looking at Jesus
In this puddle
No I am befuddled …
It’s only trees
In the pool of water
But wait …
There in the corner
Is a circle of light
That one could see day or night
A burning presence
A powerful essence
Regardless of timing
This ordinary picture
Is something much more
It is His message to me and to you
He, Our Lord God, is near and through
There is zero distance
Some may see His reflection in your face
And wonder, just as I did, if it is truly the case
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:17-18).
Happy New Year to all the followers, visitors, and supporters of this blog!
To fellow writers, may our written words reflect Him in the coming year.
To all, may what and how we speak reflect Him in the coming year.
For when we reflect Him, we tell others about His saving grace and unending love and our freedom. That freedom is for ALL who call upon Jesus.
God bless you in the name of Jesus,
