Walk in His Light

Walk in the light clean and free
For anything kept in the dark, the enemy uses against me
There is holy power in the light

Lies of dark, convince you to rely on your own might
There is healing, redeeming power in the light
Lies of dark, keep you sick in a hopeless fight
Love is light, and light is love

Lies of dark sway your mind, away from God above
Walk in the light, now and forever
Hope, joy, faithful promises are the anchor

Praise His name Jesus
For all He has done for us
Taking every last sin of yours and mine
Conquered death, defeated darkness, and made the Way for us to abide
Now is the time

Silence the lies
By seeking, believing and clinging
To Jesus, for when one sinner repents, heaven says Hallelujah with angels singing

You are His
Whether or not you know this
He wants you near
To Him, to truth. He wants you to know He did and will bear

Your burdens, your fears,
Your wasted, mistaken years

Freedom in Jesus, walking in His light

Means a new life awaits

The moment you turn your face,
Your life changes because of His freely given amazing grace

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is a gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).

I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent (Luke 15:7).

I hope you found peace and joy in Christmas, and I pray your faith continues to grow. I pray my faith continues to grow. May we not be complacent in simply believing, let us run after Jesus with all our hearts and tell others of His power in our lives.
