There’s so much more to see
Beyond the miracle of Christmas morning
You know that baby, named Jesus?
He grew to be a man and walked among us
We celebrate His birthday
Because He is the only Way
To reach God, Our Father
Truth not hidden … rather
Plain … there in the manger
Our Savior
Our Messiah
After church, the gifts and food,
Sit down the your Bible, go to Luke
When you read about Jesus yourself
You say to Him, “I am here, I am Yours
Teach me, fill me from Your well
That never runs dry.”
We have hope when we look into the sky
Some day we will be
Living with Jesus for eternity

So they (the shepherds) hurried off and found Mary and Joseph and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told (Luke 2:16-20).

So many things to do before the big day. Yet, my soul yearns for Him, and as I yearn for Him, He stirs my spirit to stand up and share Him.
