The Coming of Fall

Warmed apples

Baked just right

A touch of cinnamon
so very slight

cappucino

Coffee steam, a pleasing sight

Small comforts to us
Grow in meaning
When we focus
On His being

Gods plan and purpose
For every woman and man

Yes, He knows you
Every bitter cup stewed
And poured

Every time you stood
After the brood

Every dream’s whisper

falldream
Every tear held forever
Every facet
of every moment
Of the heavy year

Think of His arms to hold
Seek His face of love
In Him, be bold
Rest in His presence

Jesus,
breathing life this instant
As He welcomes all
In our coming season of Fall

If you declare with your mouth “Jesus is Lord” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9).

Fall is my favorite season. Pumpkins, apples, crisp air, colorful leaves, both our boys were born in the Fall. As it gets closer, I am praying about love, specifically about self-sacrifice. More to come …

Have a beauty-full Saturday.
