Starbucks Revelation

coffesymbol

Here in the midst

Of Starbucks pop music

I hear the words

Beautifully broken

Not your typical token

Dance tune

Tapping the keyboard

Words of praise

Thoughts of power

His

Over all

Lives in us

cafecomputer

Nothing is impossible

Belief

In every vein

In my blood pumping

Each lung fills

With

Air in here

A zip

A zam

Starbucks &

God

Are not separate

For His power

Rises

In places

Faint with saints

Tenderly tainted

cupshop

Beautifully broken

Is me and you

It’s Jesus followers

And those who wander

It’s writers and fighters

It’s the just and

Those who must

Like Peter, deny Him

Let us look and listen

Stop, drop and roll

With diversity

In its universal

Existence

Thank you, Jesus

Who was and is

And will come on the clouds

We know not where He will land

cloudsstarbucks

Giving snippets of the sands

Of time

To His children

Veiled and shroud

Thank you, Jesus

Please give all

Ears to hear

Your beautifully broken vessels

Who bear

The burden

Of

Bringing

Singing

Signing

Rhyming

Painting

Praying

Saying

All glory is Yours …

The Only Good News

Pointing to You, Jesus,

Who saves

Makes us brave

Forgives

Helps us love

again and again

Accepts

The least

As the best

Who promises

Forever

No final death

But eternal life

To all who claim no other

But You,

Jesus, Our Lord and Savior

Both Starbucks and the song “Beautifully Broken” by Plumb inspired this poem. You can listen here https://youtu.be/ce6PT-3sQGg8/

I will be live at 8:45pm Eastern time to read this poem aloud. You can like and follow me here so you don’t miss any vlogs: https://Facebook.com/jdibble4Him/

Have a blessed rest of the weekend.
