The Anxiety Creep

sunbeat

As the sun beats
Light sprinkles take their seat
Upon my naked arm
Though far from harm
I struggle to relax
A longing, a heavy tax
Lord, will you take away the jitters?
Cuz I know You are mighty and bigger
Than my anxiety
But still it creeps inside the walls of me
A waiting
Abating
A weight to unload

goat
Am I a goat?
If I need to rest
From intercession
Or is it when You call
You want every day our all in all

fearwoman

Shhhhh to the fear
Every moment unto You
Even those when we are apart
When I backstepped … not to be a martyr
But to breathe in Your peace
So I may start
Over

peace

Often times, anxiety and depression go together. However the picture of mental health challenges is not universal. Our God who knitted us together in our mothers’ wombs, gave us each a beauty unique to us. Please know you are loved in an amazing way, and He is waiting to be your strength in whatever way necessary for you.

Later today, Summer Depression Part 2 of 2 will post at https://juliedibblewrites.wordpress.com

Let’s Get Honest About Waiting is the live discussion post at https://Facebook.com/jdibble4Him

Have a beautiful day.

In Christ,

Julie
