As I tend around the familiar bend
My hair moves
Across my ears
The wind dredges up fears
The ones laid dormant for years
Collecting dust whispering
you just
run and hide
you cant handle anything in stride
you are unwanted, forgotten and branded
A tiny breeze renders you unmantled
The leaves swirl upward
Just beyond where I walk
A twisting cyclone in my soul
Wondering again where do I belong?
Here
Where?
I chose you long ago, and it will always be so
Why am I afraid?
You have not entered under my wings of shade
But, Lord, you see me and you know
There are times My spirit rests upon you
And other times I wait for you to approach and bow
I have the chills, Lord, the foreboding that something will …
Only if it is My will, it will
To my knees, I lower my head
Trusting when to Him I run
those fears silence in my head
I am pleased, my child,
You filed
All the scares
Casted your cares
As you obeyed and left them at my feet
It is only with Me, Lord over everything, that you will have freedom and peace

Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid (John 14:27).
Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

Thank you for all the new followers. Welcome to all visitors!
It is humbling the many times we need reassurance from Our Mighty Savior.
In the midst of fears, our choice comes down to seeking comfort and truth from God or turning away from Him to find “comfort” somewhere else.
