Blessed Trees: A #Poem

cabintreekeepout

Cool stillness

Serene wilderness

Secrets before dawn

Foothills

Mountain tops

cabintreeblue

Lush array

Awaiting His light

The ever-bright

Morningstar

The moment of anointing

cabintreelight

Walking into His plan

Glory on land, in sea and air

To the One whom died, our sins to bear

His death forged the way

For all trees

cabintreevalley

No matter their valley

Or green-leafy rally

All His trees, the same

Created by Most High

Obeying each day and night

Thank you for your visit! We are home from this trip to the mountains, and I am sad. Today’s poem was born from prayer and meditation in the forest. Tomorrow, I will post the contrast, the poem I struggled with after returning home.

Have a blessed rest of Sunday. I am off soon to read two poems at a local church!

In Christ,

Julie
